Shipping agency is our corporate business since 1895 in Morocco.
As Liner, Cruise and Tramp agent, we offer a day and night quality service and our 45 well experienced proactive member team handles more than 650 calls annually in Moroccan ports (own branch offices in main ports: Nador, Tangier, Casablanca/ Mohammedia, Jorf Lasfar, Safi, Agadir).
Moroccan sites with our own HQ in Casablanca and branch offices manned with permanent staff and computerized, who know well port structures and key PICs.
Well experienced in our host country for over one hundred years, resolutely looking forward to the future, whilst investing in training and in latest communication technology, LASRY Maroc prides itself in also providing strong financial guarantees, so crucially important to its valued customers, when appointing us to represent them.
Therefore, our Insurance policy is fully covered by additionnal British P&I for an amount of 2,600,000.00 €. We also have Guarantee deposits in each port that appear on this website.
Besides, Lasry Maroc is certified ISO 9001/2000 by BVQI and, affiliated to a worldwide network. Lasry Maroc is a subsidiary of Worms SM group.
WORMS GROUP
Worms Services Maritimes (WSM), is the heir of the French Owners Worms Group founded in 1848 ( and known as shipowners under the tanker fleet names of SFTP, STMP and then CNN (Euronav))
Worms Services Maritimes is very active as Liner (15 lines represented in France) and Shipping agent operating a network of owned offices at French ports where 1400 vessels/year come to our husbandry and makes us one of the oldest and largest independent agency in France.
Its excellent reputation of efficiency handling any vessels' types, with a fully operational and professional staff of highly trained professionals available on a 24 hour basis and devoted to time and costs savings, servicing the needs of clients and cargo interest, is widely recognized.
Abroad, we are enjoying uninterrupted partnerships in Egyptian ports since 1875, and we have also extended our presence in Mediterranean Sea to Tunisia and Morocco and new joint ventures were recently set up in Algeria to go with privatization trend.
Used to work and follow up vessels operations in various countries worldwide, the idea naturally came to offer this expertise to our clients via a dedicated department located in Paris, called Worms Hub Agency Office (WHAO) who takes care of all operations and disbursements.

As per above, Worms SM took over the agency activities of both LASRY MAROC as from July 2001 and our combined policy is oriented towards an organization attaining and maintaining European standard level of shipping agency service.
We are an efficient set up, implanted as private agency. When customer's nomination made, proactive optimum handling issues right away. All queries/full operational information handled round the clock 24/7.

We pride ourselves on being a proactive team of about 44 persons, always at customers' disposal. We are based in 6 different Moroccan sites with our own HQ in Casablanca and branch offices manned with permanent staff and computerized, who know well port structures and key PICs.

DDD / Improved availability and faster adaptability
Three highly experienced persons located at Casablanca, Khadija, Nadia and Fatim Zahra in charge of the coordination between ports and customers. They evaluate that all elements have been taken into consideration and also that all problems timely resolved.
Furthermore and in order to solve the problems of differing time zones, between our Principals' countries and Morocco,
One person is always on duty between 12h and 14h30 GMT.
After Office Hours, you always have the possibility to contact us 24h /7 through our hot lines, or through Mr AZIZI’ s or Mr RUELLE' s mobiles.
All our boarding agents have also mobiles so as you can reach them 24h/7.
Relevant phone numbers will be relayed to yourselves for each vessel's call.
EEE / Customized Service
Due to centralisation of information flow by Casablanca HQ, we are in position to offer you optimum quality service whatever the Moroccan port of call..
Our ISO 9001 / 2000 Certification is also the means through which we have set up parameters reserved for our customers, as well as the way which allows us to always interrogate ourselves about the upgrading of our activity in order to improve our procedures. With this system we have also succeeded in generalising our actions and thus optimizing our efficiency.
After 18 months of hard work and with staff's collaboration, we are now certified by BVQI.
FFF / Staff training schedule continuously updated
In order to optimize efficiency, ongoing training schedule for our staff ( IT, English as well as Shipping in coordination with Worms SM, Cambridge University… and of course ISPS)
GGG / Availability of high performance means
As far as computerization is concerned, an amount of more than 100.000 Euros has been invested in this regard (PCs, software programs, intranet/internet, Specialized direct line with Moroccan first operator, Server IBM X235 etc…) as well as staff training (see FFF)
Many vehicles have been renewed. All the staff team in relation with customers, ports and operations coordination have mobiles phones for constant contact.
We are also members of European data system com / Inmarsat which gives us the possibility to contact vessels far better than the traditional way.
HHH / Financial guarantees
As a subsidiary of WORMS’ Group, we have an insurance liability which covers us up to 2.600.000 Euros (Through ITIC / London)

JJJ/ Performance :
Thanks to our customers, even though some of them stopped calling to Morocco, we have been in position to increase by 111% our number of ships agencies nomination for cargo vessels between 2002 and 2004, and we reached a total of 594 calls in 2004. We act as full agent, but also as protecting agent, always looking for daily information, quick despatch, money savings.
